Cue the reggae, it’s tiki time. Our patio days are winding down, so we’re taking full advantage of one last summer Friday, and our friends at Privateer Rum are joining us to host a rum-soaked pig roast. Join us on Friday, August 30th at 5pm, and bring your friends. Chef Daniel Gursha will be whole roasting a pig on the patio, and serving it up alongside other house-made bites. Tickets are $25 each, and include a complimentary drink upon arrival, passed snacks and the pig roast, and gratuity for servers. Leis and party pants, optional. Harborlight Community Partners will gather on October 17th, 2019 at the Willowdale Estate with friends and partners for their annual celebration. Re-Imagining Community: Rooted in Kindness & Courage will be an evening to gather, network, and renew our commitment to those in need of a home. They are especially pleased to announce their honoree, Mr Paul Lanzikos. Paul's trailblazing work spans almost 50 years in providing and advancing healthcare, social services, and housing resouces to older adults and persons with disabilities throughout the Commonwealth and North Shore. Paul was also instrumental in the formation of HCP, even serving as their first Board President. In addition, they are honored to be joined by special guests former Governor Michael and Mrs. Dukakis, to speak about Paul and his achievements. They hope you will be part of this special evening to support their housing mission, as they Re-Imagine Community together. With your sponsorship or ad purchase (as part of their event program book) you will be among community leaders who are invested in HCP and the Re-Imagining of our community. A home is everything. As we face a housing crisis across our state and our region, now is the time to be part of something that has the power to transform lives - today and for future generations. They ask for your support and partnership - the work cannot be done alone - and we hope we can count on your to join them. ... read more
