The Midnight Bookseller is an independent bookstore coming to Salem, Massachusetts, dedicated to fantasy, gothic literature, horror, dark academia, romance, and stories that transport readers beyond the ordinary. Founded by passionate booksellers and lifelong readers, the shop offers a carefully curated selection of new releases, beloved classics, special editions, and hidden gems across genres that celebrate the strange, magical, and unforgettable. T he Midnight Bookseller was founded by Mackenzie Heather and Chloé Holt, friends, former Harvard colleagues, and book nerds. Mackenzie is a Massachusetts native with a background in social media marketing and bookselling, and Chloé hails from coastal California and has a background in literature and operations? making them the perfect literary team.
