That space served as a sheltered lagoon, allowing the business to learn, grow, and evolve in the relative safety of a small shop that, although seemingly front and center in the heart of downtown Salem, still felt like a true hidden gem. With this move to a first-floor Essex Street storefront, it is time for The Sea Wych Salem to leave the shelter of the tide pools and lagoon and move into the open ocean, where it can grow and thrive. This growth would not have been possible without the support of the Salem community that has guided, encouraged, and promoted it along the way.
