Salem Dance Ensemble Concert

The Salem Dance Ensemble's end of semester concert features a wide variety of original works, from a fun-loving tap duo, to a Butoh-inspired ensemble work that shifts the way we experience time, to beautiful choreography by faculty Michelle Deane and guest artist Hollis Bartlett. This concert will include a new work, Starlings, by Bartlett who was Salem State dance's spring choreographer in residence. Bartlett's work is about the journey from an individual group to a group of individuals. It explores the relationship of self to the community, and when we honor ourselves it benefits the whole. Friday, May 3 is Salem Night. Admission free to Salem residents with ID.
