Robert Burns Night 2020

Join Hamilton Hall for a lively Scottish celebration-- and the chance to win the trip of a lifetime to Scotland!

Burns Nights (or Burns Suppers) began in July of 1801, five years after famous Scottish poet Robert Burns’ death. Friends gathered to give tribute to the Scottish bard, drinking whisky and reading his songs and poems. Over the centuries, Burns Nights have grown into an international phenomenon.

The evening begins with appetizers and whisky tasting with laid back experts. Not a whisky fan? Enjoy live Scottish music while you chat with friends, admire everyone’s Scottish garb, and get ready for the delicious seated three course meal.

To top it all off, we will be selling raffle tickers to win an unforgettable trip to Scotland.

Let your imagination run away on a magical trip to Scotland where you stay in one of hundreds of amazing historic properties. The Royal Mile in the heart of Edinburgh has 400 year old flats for let. Or, maybe a stay in a cozy cottage, warming by the fire on a cold evening in the highlands is more to your liking? A lighthouse overlooking a rocky shore where ships of yore met their fate? Or perhaps channel your inner royalty and rent an entire wing of a castle? The choice is yours when you cast in your ticket for our “Scottish Vacation” drawing! Tickets are merely $50 and strictly limited to 100 sold!

Attendees will have the option to purchase one or more raffle tickets during checkout and receive an on-line discount of $10.

The Trip to Scotland winner will receive a membership in the National Trust for Scotland, a $1000 voucher for accommodations at a National Trust for Scotland property and $500 Visa Gift Card that can be applied to airfare, food, or accommodations. The voucher is good for one year.
