NEWEA Teacher/Public Outreach Training
Join the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) for a Teacher Training (K-12) at the South Essex Sewerage District (SESD) in Salem, MA this summer. Participate in a treatment plant tour and activities. Learn about NEWEA classroom presentations. Engage in hands-on workshops that you can repeat with your own students! Discover practical approaches, lesson ideas, and tools that help educators bring climate and water topics into their classrooms in engaging and accessible ways. Lunch and professional development points provided. A certificate of attendance will be handed out at the end of the event. Space is limited to the first 50 registrants. Register online. $35.00 per person Request for cancellation must be submitted IN WRITING by July 31, 2026. Due to agreements and guarantees, no refunds will be made after July 31st. Registration fees are forfeited if you are not able to attend the event.
