LabHouse Perfume & Cologne Workshop

Join us for a fun and interactive DIY Perfume Workshop.

This is your opportunity to fine tune your own fragrance note by note.

Our perfume class will begin with a short 15 min lesson on fragrance formulation on a molecular level. You will learn about top, middle and base notes and the different olfactive categories.

Then you will get to pick one of 20 fragrance bases to modify. These bases are like incomplete pictures, they need your own olfactory taste to fill in the details!

After studying a selection of top, middle, and base raw materials, you will add some to your fragrance drop by drop to modify each layer of your perfume. Don't worry if you are not a "pick your own adventure" type, we have more guided options for you.

Two perfumers, Miriam and Macaul, will be by your side every step of the way to answer questions and guide you through the process. Both perfumers have a background in chemistry and 8+ years experience in formulation and working in the larger fragrance industry.

LabHouse is a perfumery, not just a fragrance brand! This means that we formulate from scratch, whereas perfume brands buy pre-formulated fragrances from companies like Candle Science, Makesy or other large corporations like IFF or Firmenich etc. With our unique custom bases and your own creative expression, you are bound to walk away with a truly exclusive formula!
