            • Italianissima! : Stories & Poems Fundraiser benefiting Salem Pantry

Special reading for charity on the lawn of The Pickering House. What happens when you’re brought up by one Italian parent and one non-Italian parent? Senta, the Italian side prevails . . . sempre! Come hear Jennifer Martelli, Barbara Worton, and Linda Dini Jenkins as they entertain with stories and poems about growing up hybrid Italian-American. We’ll start with a 30-minute open mic for anyone with a story or poem that relates to their heritage and then move on to the main event.

All receipts from the charity will be donated to The Salem Pantry. The authors’ books will be on sale as well, and they will be happy to sign them for you. Tickets are sold at the door . . . cash and checks (payable to Salem Pantry) only, please! $20 per person to benefit the Salem Pantry.
