City of Salem Zero Waste Repair Café

Don’t throw away your broken item; bring it to the Repair Café! Zero Waste Salem (formerly SalemRecycles) is hosting a Repair Café on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Community Life Center at 401 Bridge St. Appointments are required.

SCHEDULE an appointment here: https://forms.gle/unLrAmNLvXNLFzpa7 or email zerowastesalemma@gmail.com.

REPAIR volunteers will be available to mend clothing, darn socks, and tinker with electronics. These services may change as we confirm volunteers. We hope to see you at this fun event where you can learn how to fix things and reduce your waste!

To celebrate the Salem 400+ anniversary, we will be looking for the oldest item brought in for repair. The owner of that item will be recognized by Zero Waste Salem for their hard work preserving our past and keeping waste out of the landfill!
