Mamma Mia! by Marblehead Little Theatre

Tickets for Marblehead Little Theatre's production of MAMMA MIA! are now available online at mltlive.org and at Arnould Gallery and Framery, 111 Washington St., in Marblehead.
 
Performances are scheduled for June 21 through June 30 at the MLT Firehouse Theatre, 12 School Street. Tickets are $25 each. There is a special $15 student rate for matinee performances.
 
With music by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, and some songs with Stig Anderson, MAMMA MIA! tells the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her father. This sunny and funny tale, with book by Catherine Johnson and originally conceived by Judy Craymer, unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.
 
The story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. A large cast, non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make MAMMA MIA! a guaranteed smash hit for any theatre. A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
 
Marblehead Little Theatre's production of MAMMA MIA! is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
 
Started in 1955 by members of the Marblehead Women's Club, the award-winning Marblehead Little Theatre is one of the oldest community theatre groups in New England, having consistently presented live-theater productions for over six decades. Upcoming performances at MLT include Shakespeare Summer Academy's 'Twelfth Night' presented in collaboration with Marblehead native, Christina Easthope from August 9, 10, and 11.
