University Chamber Orchestra Concert

The University Chamber Orchestra presents "It's All GOunOD", an evening of music by the French composer Charles Gounod. Gounod was known particularly for his operas where he blended an elegant lyrical style, with his gift of developing character and story through music. This program will feature instrumental selections from his most popular opera "Faust" along with other orchestral works. Professor Mary-Jo Grenfell conducts. Program Introduction from Faust Symphony No. 2 in E-flat Ballet Music from Faust Funeral March of the Marionette Admission is free. Goodwill offerings at the door are welcome. This concert takes place in the Recital Hall, located on the ground floor of the Classroom Building, 71 Loring Avenue. Parking is available directly across the street.
