The Salem Chamber of Commerce is proud to be one of the hosts of the first-ever Salem Biz Town Hall, and we want to make sure our members are in the room.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 8:30 to 11:00 AM, we're joining the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM), Creative Collective, Salem Main Streets, Destination Salem, the Salem Partnership, and the City of Salem for one working morning at PEM. The concept started with our partners at Creative Collective, and it's a good one: put everyone in the same room — Highland Ave to Pickering Wharf, downtown to Vinnin Square. Makers and restaurants, retailers and real estate, institutions and the City. The people shaping the conditions you operate under, and businesses you've probably never met.
The intention is straightforward: stronger communication, fewer friction points, and a clearer path to getting things done — between businesses, between the organizations that support you, and with the City.
What to expect:
• 8:30 – 9:30 AM — Networking, coffee, and a Connect-the-Dots board (what you have, what you need, what you offer)
• 9:30 – 10:30 AM — Brief updates from each host organization, followed by a curated Q&A on questions you submit at registration
• 10:30 – 11:00 AM — Open tabling and follow-up conversations with each host
Free to attend. Registration takes about two minutes, and you'll have a chance to submit a topic or question for the curated Q&A. Register here
We hope to see you there!
