Oedipodes: A Retelling of Oedipus Rex

Oedipodes is a retelling of Sophocles' famous tragedy, Oedipus, the King, told from six different perspectives. Each member of the all-seeing Chorus presents their version of Oedipus' story with their own unique style and their own particular agenda. The result is a contentious and kaleidoscopic conversation about a story whose ending was decided thousands of years ago. Performances will take place at The Witchery's Craft Studio at 61 Wharf St. Note that this is a different location from their main storefront. The entrance is located right next to the main entrance of Cauldron Black. Look for the red Witchery sign hanging near the window. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the show will begin at 7pm.
