DESCRIPTION:This concert has something for everyone with several small music ensembles This concert has something for everyone with several small music ensembles performing. The Electronic Music Ensemble will offer a pre-concert warm-up with student compositions as well as an electronic instrument improvisation. The World Music Ensemble will perform music from Shona music from Africa and Hindustani music from India. The Guitar Ensemble presents music from the Renaissance to James Taylor. While the Improv Ensemble will delight with jazz standards and selections from the American songbook. Admission is free although donations at the door to support scholarships for music majors are welcome.
