    SALEM HIGH SCHOOL CAREER TECHNICAL INITIATIVE (CTI)

    Addressing persistent skills gaps in the workforce and providing opportunities for youth and adults to retrain for skilled occupations.

    Are you an adult with a high school diploma or equivalent? Unemployed or underemployed and looking for help reaching your career goals? Do you know someone that is? If so, the Salem Technical Institute at Salem High School can help! The Salem Technical Institute offers adult education in high-demand programs for you to gain the entry-level skills needed to be successful.

    AVAILABLE CTI PROGRAMS ARE FREE FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY AND RUN DURING EVENING HOURS. THEY ARE HELD ONLY 4 DAYS A WEEK AND WILL HELP YOU ATTAIN OR FURTHER CREDENTIALING AND WILL HELP YOU GET A JOB!

    Program 1: BUILDING AND PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
    ·         LEED Green Associate Certification (in partnership with Mass Save Workforce Development Grant)
    ·         Hotworks Certification
    ·         HBI Home Builders Institute Pre-apprenticeship Training
    ·         OSHA 30 for Construction
    ·         Red Cross First Aid CPR/AED

    Program 2: AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY (WITH MARINE SERVICE):
    ·         Toyota Entry-level Technician Certification
    ·         Yamaha Outboard Certification
    ·         OSHA 10
    ·         Red Cross First Aid CPR/AED
