Yearly Membership Rates
Regular Member: $275
Non Profit Organization: $150
Payment Options: Annually, Bi-Annually or Monthly ($25 regular, $14 non-profit)

• Two company listings (Alphabetical and by Category) in our annual Membership Directory & Resource Guide (Distribution: 4,000).
• Company listing in our on-line Business Directory & Resource Guide with a hyperlink to your site. (Traffic: Over 4,700 hits/month)
• Business listing in the Salem Community Phonebook (Distribution: 20,000).
• Business announcements and events can be included in our weekly Chamber E-Newsletter (over 1,500 subscribers).
• List your events in our online Calendar of Community events.

• Consumer & Business-to-Business Referrals. Our office receives hundreds of calls every month and we refer Chamber members exclusively. We also encourage Member-to-Member referrals.

Networking Connections

Our networking events are extremely effective in connecting business professionals with potential clients and customers. We offer two complimentary events every month for members through which you can connect with over 1,500 potential clients & customers each year.

• Coffee Connections give members the opportunity to talk about their business in a 30-second elevator speech format (Attendance: 25 – 50+).
• After Hours are an open-forum business card exchange that allows you the opportunity for intensive, one-on-one networking (Attendance: 50-75+) 

Annual Events

Sponsorships vary in price depending on the type, size and frequency of events. Standard packages include logo placements on promotional materials, web promotion and linkage, e-newsletter exposure, banner or literature display at the event,

Advertising & Direct  Promotional Opportunities
We offer several effective and affordable advertising opportunities. They are an excellent way to broadcast your goods and services to hundreds of potential clients.

• Advertising through our direct mailings. Membership labels (550+) can be purchased for $150. 
• A mailing insert in our direct mailings costs $150 (you provide us with 650 8.5” x 11” single page flyers)
• eNewsletter Advertisement Banner.  $50 per week.  Maximum of 3 advertisers per week. (1,800 subscribers, both members & non-members).

Health Insurance / Member-to-Member Discounts

• Health Service Administrators (HSA) works with the Salem Chamber to provide members with a thorough analysis of all available plans in the market place.  HSA will provide your company with the most affordable Health and Dental plan options and cut through the jargon and confusion to simplify your healthcare experience.

• The Member-to-Member discount program is designed to encourage over 550 Chamber Members and their employees to patronize other Chamber businesses through special discounts.  Participation in the program is included in membership and allows members to gain clientele, support the local business community, and receive discounts on beneficial products and services.  To view the current list of participating businesses and their discounts, click HERE.

Government Representation
The collective voice of our large membership provides your business with more visibility on the local and state level about critical issues, including the tax classification factor, Salem-Beverly access road, and downtown parking.

Business & Community Events
Your membership investment allows the Chamber to offer many other outstanding events and programs designed to enhance both the business and civic community.  Our events draw thousands of visitors annually to Salem every month of the year!

Enhanced Value Membership Packages
The Salem Chamber of Commerce offers its members a new and expanded membership plan, designed to create a formal vehicle through which members may annualize their event sponsorships to facilitate better marketing and budget planning.

The goal is to provide a solid foundation for the Chamber to operate at its highest potential and to ensure members’ involvement with the business community in the greater Salem area. Participants in the enhanced membership program are recognized year-round at major events and in Chamber programs and publications.

The opportunity to approach members at one designated time during the year is beneficial to both the Chamber and our members. The Chamber benefits by knowing at the beginning of the fiscal year what sponsorships and non-dues income we can expect to receive. Members benefit by being asked only one time during the year about contributions, sponsorships and/or advertising opportunities. This makes it more efficient from a time and budgeting standpoint.
