The Salem Chamber's next Zoom Connection networking event will be asking, "What are your ideas for the redevelopment of the Footprint property?"
The City of Salem is currently working on the renewal of the city’s Harbor Plan, establishing community goals, standards and policies to guide public and private land use along its harbor. One of the purposes of the Salem Harbor Plan is to make recommendations to the City Council and Mayor concerning the development, use, and operation of Salem Harbor, the North River, and adjacent uplands. This includes the Footprint property, which exists of the vacant acreage around the Salem Power Plant. Seth Lattrell, Salem’s Port Authority Deputy/Planner, will give a macro-overview of the work undertaken and major issues under consideration, followed by a Q&A and exchange of ideas and suggestions.
Please note: Moderated by Chamber Executive Director Rinus Oosthoek, Salem Chamber’s zoom connections are limited to 25 participants and registrations are on a first come, first serve basis. There is no cost to attend for Salem Chamber members. Zoom links will be emailed to participants two days prior to the event. There is no cost to attend for Salem Chamber members.
