Join Salem Sound Coastwatch and the Abbot Public Library on Wednesday, April 25th from 7-8:30 pm for the second presentation in the Underwater in Salem Sound Lecture Series, "Signs of Spring in a Changing World: Viewing Climate Change Through Phenology." Alyssa Rosemartin of the USA National Phenology Network and visiting professor at Salem State Univerisity, will discuss phenology, the key seasonal changes in plants and animals from year to year, such as flowering, emergence of insects and migration of birds, especially their timing and relationship with weather and climate. The Underwater in Salem Sound Lecture Series is held at the Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant Ave in Marblehead and is free and open to the public.
