On Saturday, May 25th, Marblehead Little Theater’s in-house new play festival, the TNT–Totally New Theater! Festival, will offer original play readings by Collective members Anne Marilyn Lucas and Judith Black of Marblehead, Mary Beth Smith of Rockport, and Carlton Powers of Stoneham. Judith Black will also perform an original story. Carlton Powers is serving as this year’s festival producer, taking over from Marblehead resident Shari D. Frost, who produces the year-round Collective. “Carlton is an insanely talented member of the Collective with a truly unique voice,” says Frost, “I am grateful to have him as a producing partner, and I can’t wait to see all he brings to this year’s festival!” MLT, located at 12 School Street, will open its doors at 7:30pm for the 8:00pm readings. Admission to the TNT Festival is free, but there will be a suggested donation at the door.
