Join Phillips Library staff in the Reading Room for an informal, drop-in show-and-tell of library materials acquired during the fiscal year (July 2020–June 2021). The sampling of recent acquisitions on display will represent the breadth of our collecting activity and will feature a wide variety of materials: manuscripts, books, pamphlets, photographs, maps, broadsides, and ephemera. The scope of the library’s collection is global and nearly encyclopedic, and its holdings reflect the museum’s collections of art in all media and across all curatorial departments, on top of its own traditional areas of strength in subjects such as Salem and Essex County history.
