Mayor's Night Out 2021
Mayor's Night Out is a program designed to allow Salem residents to be admitted free of charge (or at a discounted price) to an museum/attraction and any discounted or special offers you would like to provide to Salem residents. The event starts at 3pm on Friday, October 8th.
As part of Mayor's Night Out, The Mayors Office has created a Trick-or-Treat activity for Salem children in the downtown, which has been hugely successful over the past few years. At this time, they would like to ask you to participate in this year's family-fun event by providing candy at your establishment for our trick-or-treaters. They suggest you plan for approximately 600 youngsters. Since they are expecting to service such a high volume of children in a short period of time and due to the COVID indoor mask mandate, it is recommended that you stand outside your shop to pass out candy. The city will be distributing masks so attendees can go inside the Witch City Mall to trick or treat. If for some reason you are unable to come outside of your store and you want to participate, please let them know and we will gladly provide a volunteer to pass out candy.Tables will also be setup by the large fountain for businesses that are not in the immediate downtown area who would like to distribute treats.Images
