SALEM — Families are invited to The House of the Seven Gables’ hands-on history program — Living History Labs — on weekends through October. Set aside a few hours of special time with friends and loved ones to join in and learn about the region’s history. The Museum staff has developed fun, Gable’s-oriented experiments for all to try. Living History Labs are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 4:30 p.m. from July 1 through October on Saturdays and Sundays. Come often! Activities and locations vary daily. Living History Labs are included with Museum admission, which is free for Salem residents and members of The Gables. The Museum’s current exhibition, ”Life and Labor Over Four Centuries at The House of the Seven Gables,” on view in the Visitor Center, is free and open to the public.
