UNCHAINED BRAIN is a multimedia exploration of the visual art that Jon Sarkin produced in the aftermath of his stroke, which resulted in an endless creative flow, precipitated by damage to his brain. Jon will tell his story in a free form rap, accompanied by videographer Emille Doucette and guitarist Dan King, in an assemblage of images, sound and spoken word that highlights Jon’s studio work, brain scans, and Jon’s performance with indie band Guster. Admission is free. Additional information: www.salemstate.edu/arts 978.542.6365
