Please join us in welcoming Executive Pastry Chef Selina Boykova to the Salem Gnu Kitchen family! This will be a 2 hour introductory demonstration to baking, and here is what to expect:
-Importance of proper measuring: Volume vs Weight (ounces vs grams)
-Primary ingredients and what they do:
Butter, sugar, flours, leaveners
-Mixing methods: Creaming, biscuit, straight dough, two-step blending
-Baking Temperatures and proper storage
-Sample Tasting
Tickets are $40 per person through Eventbrite, and $50 for drop-ins (first come, first serve, space not guaranteed)
