The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, in partnership with the Our Salem, Our Kids initiative, will host an information session for those interested in learning more about foster parenting and adopting from foster care. The session takes place on May 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hotel Salem, 209 Essex Street, in Salem. The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families serve children of all ages - from infants to adolescents - from every community - who need a home. You can be single, married, partnered, divorced, or widowed. You can rent or own a home. Time spent with you in a stable and secure environment gives a child a chance to heal. The rewards of providing daily care, guidance, and acceptance to a child are immeasurable.
