The Center for Creative and Performing Arts at Salem State returns to live performances and other arts events with a Faculty and Guest Artist Dance Concert on Thursday, September 9 at 7:30 pm in the Sophia Gordon Center. The concert will run approximately one hour without intermission. Admission is free. Registration advance encouraged because all guests will be checked in before entering the theatre. Masks are required to be worn by all attendees per university COVID-19 safety protocols. Please do not come to the concert if you are feeling unwell. This concert will feature original choreography by Salem State dance faculty Betsy Miller, Meghan McLyman, Michelle Deane and Laila Franklin and alumni Lindsey McGovern and Jake Crawford. Much of the choreography on this program is created in conjunction with other disciplines. Additional performers and contributors include J.D. Scrimgeour, Cathy Fahey, Elisabeth Weiss, Phil Swanson and Ken Reker.
