Representatives from Massachusetts Probation Services, Salem Police Department and Lifebridge Shelter will be presenting to local employers the benefits of hiring individuals with criminal backgrounds. Discussion will revolve around the cost benefits, tax incentives, and intensive collaboration that can be created between the employer and Probation within Essex County. Other topics included will be fair hiring practices and the challenges and opportunities in promoting an integrated approach to reentry and employment.
