88th Annual Celebrate Salem Awards Dinner

The Salem Chamber of Commerce's 88th Annual Celebrate Salem Awards Dinner will take place in the beautiful Atrium of the Peabody Essex Museum on the evening of Wednesday, April 28, 2010.  Please Save the Date for what promises to bee another fabulous event. Join the Salem Chamber, Mayor Driscoll, Representative Keenan and over 250 attendees in recognizing individuals and businesses for their accomplishments.  We look forward to seeing you on April 28 at the Peabody Essex Museum.

The Annual Dinner's theme this year is "Fiery Pool: The Maya and the Mythic Sea". (The exhibit runs March 27 through July 18, 2010 at the PEM). Over 90 works, many recently excavated and never before seen in the United States, offer exciting new insights into the culture of the ancient Maya focusing on the sea as a defining feature of the spiritual realm and the inspiration for powerful works of art.
